Character Design
My reimagining of the traditional troll as a punk rock character breaks away from typical fantasy art. The bright green skin against the orange mohawk creates an eye-catching look with lots of attitude. I changed the usual scary troll features into something fierce and confident, making a female character who doesn't care about fitting fantasy stereotypes. This kind of character design works great in many ways. She could appear in comics, video games, on merchandise, or in animation.

Caricature is my absolute favorite way to capture someone's personality. When I draw a portrait, I zero in on those standout characteristics that make each person unique.
